The Plan cafe bar in Cardiff, South Wales

I visited The Plan for the first time in ages and I was delighted to find that they now do Gluten Free food! The menu is the same but they food that can be prepared using gluten free ingredients are clearly marked.

Be warned, this is a very popular cafe in one of Cardiff's oldest arcades. It has improved so much over the years. They do the most wonderful soups and lots of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

For tea and coffee lovers it is well worth exploring their delicious drinks menu. The staff are also very helpful but service is very relaxed. That said, The Plan isn't a fast food joint rather it is a lovely cafe to meet friends or watch the world go by!

Gluten free in Padstow, Cornwall

Imagine my delight at finding a lovely cafe in Padstow overlooking the Harbour that caters for Gluten and Wheat free dietry requirements! Greens cafe is opposite the Visitors Centre (slightly up the hill) and will make sandwiches from Gluten/wheat free bread! I had a cheese and pickle sandwich (a classic) and it was proper tasty!

They also have a crazy golf area which is lots of fun!

Just off the harbour is an ice cream parlour that has gluten free cones! I forget the name of it sadly, but definitly worth visiting!

Gluten Free falafels

I'll never buy falafels from the shop again! They are so easy to make. I used the recipe from BBC Good Food but omitted the egg. I shallow fried them, left them to cool then baked them in the over. A little crumbly but absolutely delicious!
